It uses event-oriented techniques to enable plug-in technology, thus enabling the software to be highly customizable to meet various business demands. It is also designed with web services or SOA (service-oriented architecture) to facilitate interoperability and distributed processing. Designed using a multi-tier architecture, the system operates on the Microsoft Windows Server platform and supports both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
